slitting since 1982. Our 72 inch wide X 1000 PIW Alcos state of the
art loop type steel slitting line can fill your metal slitting
needs. Whether it is galvanized, stainless, or hot roll steel
Wheatland Steel can slit your master coil to exact specifications
with our computerized shim-less tooling.
Wheatland Steel Processing has a wide range of steel slitting
capabilities. We can process steel gauge from .036 to .250 and
accommodate master coil weights up to 60,000 pounds. Our metal
slitting width range is 1.5 to 72.5 inches. We can produce up to 25
individual slit steel coil (also called a mult) from a single steel
coil master, dependent upon steel gauge. After steel slitting the
finished slit coil can have an I.D of 20 or 24 inches and a maximum
O.D. of 74 inches. Slit coils can be packaged per customer
specifications. Typically our metal slitting processing takes 5
days, but we can accommodate much tighter turn-around time frames as
may be required.
Many of our steel slitting jobs incorporate other services. We can
shear and level for you. We also offer a variety of steel stamping
services.
